Not all scenic roads are large or apparent on the map. Sometimes it pays to find a book that lists them in your state. I really didn’t do the road justice but there weren’t many places to turn off this narrow two lane backroad. One of its points of interest was the Ghost Town Nighthawk. It’s privately owned and difficult to discern from the other buildings around it. I only discovered I was there when I saw the sign announcing its presence. The road’s location in relationship to the “town” required you to use a long telephoto on a tripod. From the posting signs, the owner is not happy to meet and greet strangers.
